Epidemiology of mental health disorders and ageing

Research Interest

 

This programme focuses on the epidemiology of mental disorders and the analysis of treatment results. The research interest includes studies on the prevalence and impact of disorders on the general population and the treatment of mental disorders in primary care, studies on the determinants of healthy ageing, analyzing both the impact of physical and mental comorbidity and the effect of social and environmental aspects, and the research of the consequences of mental disorders on patients’ functioning and quality of life and on their impact on society at large.
