Join us

We are constantly searching for talented researchers and students who want to join our Institute. We welcome both national and international candidates in any stage of their career, from a wide range of disciplines related to neurosciences.

In this section you can find the open positions within the Institute of Neurosciences. Also, we can also offer our explicit support in submitting a candidature in one of the national or international human resources calls for researchers.

Undergraduate student

We are constantly seeking highly motivated students to give them the opportunity of doing a research training, in the context of their final degree project or through the Erasmus international exchange programme. The selected students will get in touch with the research activity and they will have their first experience as a member of a research group. We encourage talented students to contact the Principal Investigators of the Institute.

Join us as a post-doctoral researcher

The Catalan Agència de Gestió d’Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerca (AGAUR) offers the Beatriu de Pinós programme, addressed to young researchers with at least two years of international post-doctoral experience.

The Spanish Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (MINECO), through the Secretaría de Estado de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación, offers three competitive calls:

The Instituto de Salud Carlos III offers the Río Hortega contracts, addressed to professionals who have recently obtained their specialized health training (FSE), to develop a research project in health science and technology.

The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (IF), from the European Commission, aim to promote researchers’ career development and mobility within European countries, to acquire advanced scientific skills and perform original research projects.

If you are interested in any of these programs, fell free to contact the Principal Investigators of our Institute or the office of Research Promotion (ubneuro_projectes (at) ub.edu).
