17/03/2026 ⎯ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Institute of Neurosciences is pleased to announce the NeuroLeadership Development Program — Leadership Training and Peer Coaching for Rising Leaders, delivered by Alicia Marín Muniesa from The Sky Is The Limit.

This training will have a strong focus on gender and on strategies to promote and guarantee gender equality in academic leadership and career development. In previous editions, the program was offered exclusively to women. This year, we are opening it to men as well, as we believe the content and tools provided can be highly valuable for them too, particularly in implementing effective strategies that foster more inclusive and equitable research environment.

The program consists of the following sessions (all in the morning, from 10:00 to 14:00h):

📅March 17 – Leading Yourself (Introduction to Emotional Intelligence and Working Alliance)

📅March 31 – Leading Others (Communication Skills for Leaders, Leadership Defined, The Art of Delegating Well)

📅 April 14 – Leading Your Career (Negotiation Skills, Career Visualization Techniques)

📅 April 28 – Way Forward: Getting Ready for Peer Coaching (Basic Coaching Skills for Leaders, Peer Coaching Practices and Cohort Alliance, Program Integration and Action Plan)

📍The training will most likely take place at the Faculty of Medicine (Campus Clinic).

This program is open to members of the Institute from postdoctoral level onwards. Priority will be given to Assistant Professors and Ramón y Cajal researchers, as well as to applicants who are able to commit to attending all sessions.
