The UBneuro PhD Welcome Day is an institutional event designed to welcome PhD students who have recently joined the Institute of Neurosciences of the University of Barcelona. The session is aimed at PhD candidates enrolled during the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 academic years and seeks to introduce them to the UBneuro community, its structure, and the support available throughout the doctoral journey.
Beyond the institutional welcome, the event provides a space to connect with fellow PhD students, meet members of the PhD Committee and UBneuro management team, and gain practical insights into responsible research and effective science communication.
The morning will combine short talks, interactive sessions, and informal networking moments. An optional guided visit to the Cognitive Neuroscience Unit will conclude the event.
