Participants of the UB–Inditex Chair tour UBneuro´s facilities

Participants of the University of Barcelona–Inditex Chair of Professional Integration of People with Intellectual Disabilities visited today the Institute of Neurosciences of the University of Barcelona (UBneuro).

During the visit, they toured the Cognitive Neuroscience Unit, where researchers explained how they study the brain and its functions through different experimental and technological approaches. The participants had the opportunity to learn first-hand how neuroscience research contributes to improving people’s well-being and understanding human behavior.

The visit was attended by Dr. Maria Carbó, lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and member of UBneuro, who leads the UB–Inditex Chair. This initiative, promoted jointly by the University of Barcelona and Inditex, aims to foster training and research to advance the social and professional inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
