The purpose of this first meeting in 2024 has been to resume the dynamic of working meetings that have been taking place over the past year, based on a collaborative model and permanent dialogue between our alliance and the Ministry, which promotes the advancement and implementation of various key issues for science in our country.
The Ministry recognizes our alliance as a representative interlocutor of the scientific community, which allows them to stay connected with the everyday reality and diversity of our centers and units of excellence, and they positively value our ability to identify potential issues in R&D management and make proposals that enable coordinated efforts to improve research and scientific management.
The Ministry is firmly committed to working in coordination with SOMMa on issues such as the implementation of the Law of Science, Technology and Innovation as well as the recent Organic Law of the University System (LOSU), as well as in the development of activities related to Open Science.
