Spanish leading research centres claim urgent changes in public funding for scientific research

The directors of 27 research centers, including the Institute of Neurosciences of the UB, state the alarming situation of Spanish scientific research in a letter published by EL PAÍS.

“The prolonged period of reduction and freezing of public funds has reached a point of almost no return that, if not resolved in the short term, threatens to completely collapse the Spanish scientific system”
