This year, the PhD Workshop of the Institute of Neurosciences will take place at the Faculty of Biology during November 30 and December 1, 2017. The activity aims to respond the interests and doubts of in-training researchers and students of the master degree of the Institute.

This edition will start on November 30 with workshops of general interest which will lead to the Contest of Neurosciences. On December 1, the activity will include a series of oral presentations and alternated posters. Last, Dr Artur Llobet, from the Institute of Neurosciences, and Dr Neus Valveny, from Trial Form Support SL, will talk about the different future opportunities in the academic and the non-academic fields. The master conference “Molecular mechanisms of cortical interneuron diversity and plasticity” will be given by Professor Oscar Marín, director of the MRC Centre for Developmental Neurobiology at King’s College London. The activity will close with an award ceremony for the best oral presentation and the best poster, to be chosen by the PhD Committee.
