International Day of Women and Girls in Science activities

February 11th is the date to recognise the critical role women and girls play in science and technology and to promote scientific vocations to young people.

The Institute of Neurosciences take part on this important day and some of its women researchers will participate in the #100tífiques project. The project aim is to make visible and highlight the relevance and strategic role of women in science and technology, promoting joint actions between scientists from academia and those from the enterprise.

On February 11th at 11:00AM, our researchers will do a talk in differents schools from Catalonia about who they are and their research. The participants are:

On February 4, 450 women researchers and technologists will attend the 4th #100tífiques Meet-up. This year will take place at the Paranimf of the University of Barcelona.

#100tífiques is an initiative of the Fundació Catalana per a la Recerca i la Innovació (FCRI) and the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST), with the collaboration of the Departament d’Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
